traveling  turtles 

                                                        a trip across the atlantic

in late spring , huge sea turtles crawl onto a beach in florida. each turtle digs  a nest  in the  sand.the  mother turtle then lays abouth 100 eggs. two months later, tiny turtles hatch

the Young turtles crawl out of  their holes and into the ocean .

                                                       a long trip 

 on  along trrp  . they swim across the  atlantic océano  and back  again. the trip takes between five and ten years. the trip  is thousansd of miles long .

scientists wandted to know how the turtles made their way  across the  ocean . to  find out , scientists put "bathing  suits " on some Young sea turtles . the suits were  teid to  special machines . the  machines  can follow how the turtles swin

                                             un viaje  a través  de la Atlanta 

a finales de primavera  enormes tortugas marinas  se arrastran  en una  playa de de Florida .

cada  tortuga excava  un nido en la  arena . la tortuga madre se pone cerca   de 100 huevos . dos meses después , pequeñas tortugas nacen .

las jóvenes tortugas se arrastran fuera de sus  agujeros  y en el océano .

                                                      un largo viaje

las diminutas tortugas  emprenden un largo  viaje . nadan a través    del océano Atlántico y viceversa .

los científicos  querían saber como las tortugas hacen su camino a través de   el océano .

sabes lo científicos ponen "trajes de baño " en algunas jóvenes tortugas marinas . los trajes están  atados  a las maquinas especiales . las maquinas pueden seguir  como nadan las tortugas .
